HUMAN community newsletter – #26

2 min read

Hello fellow HUMANs. Summer is here. Long days. Warm weather. And – depending where you are – rain. At HUMAN, we’ve been busy preparing the next iteration of the HUMAN App, which we’re anticipating to release next month. This follows the bug fixes and general backend improvements made to the current version. We’ve also got news on two new, exciting partnerships.

Highlights

  • A new partnership with Overtone – a content analyzer – to bring more work to the HUMAN App, and the possibility of new job types for future requesters.
  • HUMAN App 2.0 – with significant improvements to the user interface and experience – is scheduled to arrive next month.

Product and Development

  • The re-release of the HUMAN App has been successful, post addressing a few bugs.
  • We’ve implemented the feedback for HUMAN App (v2.0), and are aiming to release the update this month.

Partnerships

  • We announced a new partnership with Overtone. Overtone specializes in analyzing the content of news articles to understand its quality and purpose. By integrating with HUMAN Protocol they will be able to validate the outputs of their AI models and metrics more effectively, utilizing HUMAN's workforce for evaluation.
  • The grant awarded to Firebond has been completed. HUMAN Protocol will be using their tool TypeGo for building online surveys.

Community updates

Due to vacations, we will not host our monthly community call in June. Stay tuned to our channels for information on the next call, in July.

Over the past month our groups have experienced an increase in activity, driven mainly by discussions about CVAT and related topics. The HUMAN Arabic Telegram group stands out, with an increase of 228% in participation. There has also been an increase in engagement across various regional groups such as Bangladesh and Turkey, with specific trends and issues emerging in each. HUMAN Protocol will continue to monitor the discussions and address the concerns raised as part of our community support efforts.
